I stayed in a Japanese-Style Economy Room with a shared bathroom for 2 nights. The room was beautifully clean and super quiet. The tatami mats were comfy, and I loved the yukata they provided. Just wish the shared bathroom was a bit bigger. it felt cramped at times. Bungo and his mom were amazing hosts, making my stay feel really special.

Solo travelers delight
First off, I was expecting a shared room but got a private one which was so authentic and fantastic. The hosts, Bungo and Yoka, made it all better being so friendly and informative, which made the whole experience feel personal and special.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but definitely worth it for the experience.

Incredible hospitality and authentic experience
My stay was fantastic! Bungo and his mother made me feel so welcome, offering personalized recommendations for local attractions like the Ninja Temple and dining at nearby traditional restaurants. The onsen was a perfect way to unwind after exploring, and my room was beautifully clean and comfortable, complete with a lovely garden view. I truly appreciated the attention to detail in this traditional setting. The only downside was the breakfast arrangements since it’s just the two of them running everything, but there are great local options just a short walk away.
