The shared hot bath was sooo relaxing! Bungo and his mom were incredibly warm hosts, and the clean, cozy room offered a lovely garden view. Just remember, the shared bathroom can be a bit cramped. 😊

I stayed in a Japanese-Style Economy Room with a shared bathroom for 2 nights. The room was beautifully clean and super quiet. The tatami mats were comfy, and I loved the yukata they provided. Just wish the shared bathroom was a bit bigger. it felt cramped at times. Bungo and his mom were amazing hosts, making my stay feel really special.

We stayed for 2 nights in a Japanese-Style Economy Room with my two small kids, and the traditional atmosphere was perfect! Bungo went out of his way to show us the local spots and made recommendations that were ideal for our family. The shared bath was a fun nightly ritual for us!

My kids wished for a few more family-friendly activities on-site.

We really enjoyed our stay in the spacious family room. Bungo helped us book a fantastic ninja museum tour, and the onsen was a perfect end to our day. The quiet area near lovely gardens made for a peaceful retreat, especially for my mum.

My kids wished there were more family activities available.

Solo travelers delight

First off, I was expecting a shared room but got a private one which was so authentic and fantastic. The hosts, Bungo and Yoka, made it all better being so friendly and informative, which made the whole experience feel personal and special.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but definitely worth it for the experience.
